After receiving a B.S. degree in Radio Television Production from Texas Christian University , I spent more than a decade of experience serving corporate, educational and organizational clients. After several years as a producer and editor of cable television commercials throughout Texas for Cabletime (now Suddenlink), I joined a production company in Raleigh, North Carolina, where I produced a wide range of videos and live events, including corporate training videos for clients like Siemens Corporation, live sporting events, and event videography for events like the North Carolina Southern Baptist Convention, Reeds Jewelers National Managers Convention, and the North Carolina Bar Association Continuing Legal Education programs.

In 2000, I joined the media relations and information services department for the North Carolina Farm Bureau Federation, a non-profit political organization representing the agriculture industry across the state of North Carolina and in Washington, DC . As their sole video producer, I produced corporate and educational videos featuring the services and programs offered by the Farm Bureau, television spots promoting the agriculture industry, and video news releases featuring agriculture news events that were broadcast both on local news stations and nationally-syndicated agriculture television programs. Further, I was responsible for coordinating and implementing the audio visual needs for everything from meetings with state and national legislators to state-wide annual conventions of more than a thousand participants. While there, I received an award from the American Farm Bureau Federation for Best Television News Story in 2003.

Since returning to Texas in 2005, my primary responsibility has been providing care for my two children. I have remained active in the industry, however, by offering production services for local ministries like the Brazos Valley Chapter of the Fellowship for Christian Athletes. I produce videos that support their ministries to high school and college students like the statewide leadership camp, provide event videography at such events as the Ray Dorr Golf Classic and Texas A&M Game Day Rallies, and assist with event planning and communications with donors.
